FullSizeRenderHere at the DUI Foundation, we’re excited to partner with Carrie Armstrong, with the How To Be A Sober Girl blog. You can check out her blog here. Over the next thirty days, she has committed to a How To Be A Sober Girl 30 Day Kickstart campaign and we’ll be sharing her stories right here.

Here’s the overview from her blog.

I don’t care how old you are. I don’t care how much you drink. I don’t care if you feel like your drinking is an issue or have been fighting in denial for years, or you just fancy a change from your usual routine. None of that is important. I’m not bothered if you’ve tried to stop a hundred times or never attempted it before. None of it is relevant.

I will ask you to do homework. You will be asked to perform tasks. and there will be a cessation of drinking. The rest you will discover as we go along.

And without any more time, here’s Day One.

Hello Lovely Lasses & Lads,

I’m absolutely over the moon that you have signed up to How To Be A Sober Girl 30 Day Kickstart!

It’s going to be very simple: each day I will make a short video featuring a new tip. None are difficult or expensive. All are doable. And most importantly? They are tools I either used myself to stop drinking almost 10 years ago, or have used with great success to help others stop drinking in the past few years.

Today’s tip is simple yet one of the most effective tools I have ever utilized. I hope you enjoy it! Remember it won’t work unless you actually follow through with the instructions I give. Just watching the video isn’t enough.

See you tomorrow!

Carrie
