27 year old Ithaca Native and lead guitarist of X Ambassadors, Noah Feldshuh was arrested for DWI in his hometown of Ithaca, New York over the holidays.

The Ithaca Journal reports Feldshuh was charged with driving while intoxicated on Dec. 27 after Ithaca police officers saw a his vehicle stopped in the middle of the road, on a crosswalk for what seemed like “no legitimate reason.” Stated in a news release, officers determined Feldshuh had been drinking while driving and took him into custody.

Feldshuh had a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.16 percent, more than twice the legal limit, unlawful possession of marijuana and parking on a crosswalk. He was later released and scheduled to appear in Ithaca City Court on Jan. 21st.

Feldshuh formed X Ambassadors with his childhood friends Sam and Casey Harris when they met drummer Adam Levin while attending college in New York City. X Ambassadors released their debut album last March and hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top 40 charts with “Renegades.”
